Hiring Grinding Cement Unit Packing Plant Operation and Maintenance Senior Engineer

Qualification B.Tech
 / Diploma Mechanical.
Responsibilities and Key Performance Areas in Packing Plant Operations:
A. Safety:
1. To check implementation of Mandatory safety requirements, PPE, PTW, ensure implementation of Best Safety practices, Toolbox talk, sharing risk assessment & mitigation of risk associated with jobs undertaken, perform daily safety walk way inspection in the Packing plant operation function for effective supervision.
B. Costs: Monitoring
2. To check monitoring compressed air/material/oil leakage is zero, bag Burstage is below as defined %, no idle running of compressor or any equipment of packing plant, healthiness of bag MRP printing machine.
C. Operation:
3. Looking after Operation of Packing/Loading activities with reports on daily basis to achieve monthly cement dispatch target as per business plan.
4. Safe lifting/shifting of empty bags to the bag go down.
D. Focus:
5. Tool Box Talk before starting any activity in Plant.
6. PP Bag Physical verification with store and commercial department.
7. Shift Output of Packer TPH – 150-160TPH (Capacity – 240 TPH).
8. MRP printing – 100% same as mentioned in DO.
9. Housekeeping in packing plant at highest level.
10. TAT for truck and bulkers - <2.50 hrs.
11. Packer Stoppage report, Bag Burstage report, Manpower intake report.
12. Cleaning of Silo extraction gate and arresting of its material leakage on opportunity based. • Cleaning of Packer FCG and Vibrating screen mesh once in a week to avoid packer stoppages.
13. To ensure correct bags loading & type of cement as per delivery order issued by Logistic Depart.
14. To take care for cement bags weight & take random check weight each packers to avoid any variation & also prepare random weight-list report.
•Packer maintenance ,calibration.
• Ensure overall compliance of Safety & Health regulations.
• Lead, coordinate and control all maintenance activities of Mechanical Department.
• Compliance to the Maintenance Practices/system (PTW, Work permits, risk assessment).
• Communication with superiors and other departments for better operation & reduce breakdown of equipments in respective section.
• Responsible for the maintenance & repairs as per daily /weekly/yearly plan. Providing feedback to section head update history.
• Proper co-ordination with operation & Other maintenance team to achieve plant goal.
• Co-operate planner for preparing time and cost estimates for work orders/ jobs to optimise resources utilization.
• Timely completion of maintenance activities as per planning & production schedule.
• Support planner to update maintenance performance data/ statics and technical documentation.
• Support the predictive and preventive maintenance plan for all pieces of equipment.
• Accomplish other tasks assigned from the superiors.
